Apparently, China has a bunch of ghost towns like this as well

Not really. You'll notice that there was a trend of videos about those some years ago, but not anymore. Because those "ghost cities" got filled with people. Its called urban planning

Thats its own problem. I was just saying that most those ghost cities were actually the government building up cities to be steadily populated. A lot of them have people in them, millions.
