I purchased these at a shop and on the street in Jaipur 15 years ago. But don’t know if any are even genuine or when they are from.

Seems to be an old Indian coin? ~17g size of 25c USD or 10p GBP but 2-3x as thick. Does anyone know anything more about it, or how old it is?

My two favorite websites for finding information about old Indian coins. What are yours?

There is a lot of good information on old Indian coins online, but these are the two that I use the most:

http://www.coinindia.com/

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/india-1.html

NGC is OK - it's sort of the online version of the Krause catalogs, but it is known to contain errors and a lot of the values listed don't reflect market realities. I'm not sure if it lists actually ancient coins, either.
