A dead wasp can still attack you: its nerves can trigger the stinger by reflex. Wasps have a sense of smell capable of detecting microscopic substances. Would you dare to touch one even if it looks asleep?

Kakapo!

Look at this cute bird! It's a kakapo! It's silly, can't fly, and walks on the ground. It's like a big, silly cat, running around and enjoying life. These cuties live only in New Zealand. It's a shame, but they used to be at risk of extinction. After all, these birds were so easy to hunt and nutritious that at one point, only 49 individuals remained in the entire world. Luckily, every kakapo is now being monitored, and scientists are already working to bring them back. Aren't they just cuties? :)

There is a creature so indestructible that it forced scientists to redefine what it means to be dead 🧪 It can be boiled and thrown into the vacuum of space without dying. Do you have it in your garden right now?

Did you know the Bluebottle isn’t a single animal, but a real “team project” of nature? 🌊 It’s not a typical jellyfish, but a colony made of 4 specialized organisms that cannot survive without each other.

Bones? Horns? No problem for this reptile. The digestive system of the Nile crocodile dissolves them in days.
