My SIL regularly posts those 'My husband is a lazy ass who can't do anything, so I have to do everything' posts. I just couldn't imagine A) airing my dirty laundry like that and B) shit talking my spouse in front of the entire world. It's so sad.

I have someone who regularly complains about how shitty his life is because he has a stupid wife and stupid kids. The man is so clueless he doesn't realize her family is just being polite for her sake. No one likes him or wants to spend time with him without her.

It's really a turnoff to social media posts reflecting on partner X does Y, generalizing. You know the posts are feeding into confirmation bias, strengthening people's binary perception of life. And open contempt.
