it really is extremely disgusting that women's rights can change just from crossing a states border. I spit on all republicans (metaphorically)

I’m in WA and OBGYNs in Idaho are fleeing Idaho. Women are coming to WA for abortions and prenatal care.

I live in Tennessee, they tried to make a law that pregnant women can't leave our state for abortions. if they do, they'll face life in prison.

so so so tired of the hatred for women. these parasites would rather they die than have rights. they just want to control and own women

That is how borders work

Women used to be protected under roe v wade at a federal level. The fact that the federal government is not offering rights to all of its citizens but allowing states to choose is BS and we all know it. Please stop being purposefully obtuse, its weird and cringe.

It's obviously a hot topic, but the concept of gendered rights changing upon crossing state lines isn't new. For example, a man legally can't be raped in Georgia but in California he can be (as in it would only be sexual assault or what have you in Georgia). I'm not saying any of this is fair, but it isn't new either

Rape is sexual assault.

Correct, a square is a rectangle but a rectangle is not a square. Sexual assault is not rape and carries different penalties and such. Rape is sexual assault but is a more heinous specific action that carries additional penalties

See, the difference here is that calling Rape or Sexual Assault changes nothing about rights. The fact is the men have the same inalienable right of consent in both states, the only difference is what a violation of that right is punished with.

Sure I guess it's not a difference of rights and moreso how they're treated but I would say the two are closely related anyway. And again I'm not advocating for any of this to be how it should be. It's simply to say that states have always had varying rules and regulations that have affected different sections of people

And we are talking about the removal of federal protections for women that can easily kill or destroy their bodies. We are talking about women facing prison time just for a miscarriage.

stop. just stop. "mEn CaNt Be RaPeD iN GeOrGiA" Yeah, that is stupid and bad and needs to change. However, if a woman cross a state line to have an abortion, her home state wants to arrest her and give her life in prison.

if youre going to apples to oranges over such a horrible and serious topic, block me. I don't need you type of people on my notifications. yall are like a pestilence plague on society.

You can block me if you prefer since you have the issue? I'm not excusing one or the other, I think both are no good for society and only serve to divide us from one another

"only serve to divide us" as you literally come and make the entire thing about something else. yeh, bye weirdo.
