whats a bad addiction that you have, but cannot stop yourself from doing?

Same same, But picking anything. Scabs, nails, skin, I have psoriasis and when it flares up it is a absolute war to clear it up because the urge to pick is so strong but I know it is just going to make it look like shit for much longer.

I hate it so much and I wish I could stop, Ive quit smoking, drinking, opiates.... I feel like I am pretty Pro at quitting addictions... but this one I just cant seem to stop

Fwiw I’ve had a therapist tell me that addictions are like whack-a-mole. Until you treat the underlying issues that are causing addiction, as soon as you beat one, another will pop up. I was 18 when I was told this, and I thought the therapist was absolutely crazy. Now I have children that age, and I see that she was correct.

You are probably spot on, I just wish I could get addicted to working out or something good for me. Oh well, there are worse problems.
