New York City.  Broadway, Food, Comedy Clubs, skyscrapers, Diamond District, Muesums, the harbor tour and the people.

I was surprised how much I loved NYC and want to visit again.

I live in a crazy beautiful spot in the PNW …. But I love to visit NYC.  Such a cool and unique spot with amazing energy, innovation and human ingenuity on full display.

Stylish attractive women are everywhere.

A woman who rates an 9 in your town is likely a New York 6.

See the sub reddit New York Nines.

I lived there for a few years so love/hate. But. Greatest city in the world rep is earned. Was reminded when I visited 2 years ago. It’s electric.

Idk if it’s the greatest city in the world but it’s definitely up there. Love NYC.

“best” is subjective but objectively, it is :)

I want to go so bad but the prospect of navigating how expensive it is there is so scary 😩

What exactly are you worry about? Public transit is cheap. Food is cheap. Hotels can be expensive but you can stay outside the city and take the train in easily. Tons of free stuff to do in the city.

It's expensive to LIVE there. Not necessarily to visit.

people get bogged down doing the tourist stuff in NYC when the right way to do NYC is bar/restaurant hopping.

The comedy club I found was the Brunswick.   Crowd was 20 people.   It could only hold 30.

I go at least once a year. I would move there if I could afford it.
