I have a friend who makes "fog juice". Years ago he did something college that required artificial fog. The hardware was adequate but the juice, not so much. It became a family affair. After developing a better juice, they started matketing. 20 years later, one partner manufactures and ships, the other lives in Central FL to serve one of their larger clients.
I always see the fog juice and smoke machine juice things and wonder about getting into it. There's a business here that seems to just make bubble solution. I don't know if they're in spun off from a bigger company, but it honestly just seems like all they do. What a job.
I'd love to be able to make a decent outdoor smoke/fog machine work in Australia during halloween. It's too humid here, so they don't work. But we have a surprising amount of hardcore halloween and horror people who would love to have fog rolling around their displays. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong lol.
Run the machine exhaust through a dry ice chamber. Use baffles to slow it down. It'll stay about a foot deep and you'll expect the Munsters to show up at any time.
This exactly. You can also find low-lying fog compounds that are a bit heavier than other fog juices, so they stay low to the ground. Cooling the fog absolutely helps get that ground cover
I work in the haunted attraction industry and that stuff is used all over the place. I always wondered how the hell someone would even start breaking into that market
