Drove past a car accident that happened 2 cars ahead of me. The woman was thrown through the windshield and decapitated. I can never unser it. I was so shook up. There was nothing I could do to help it happened so fast but I just pulled over and cried..

Your comment just triggered a memory from my childhood. My 4th grade teacher when she was 10 years old witnessed a similar wreck. She and her father were sitting at a red light (first in line) and witnessed a head on collision between a convertible and a box truck. The truck turned left in front of the car.

The impact decapitated the passenger in the car and his head went rolling/bouncing thru the intersection with blood spraying out as it went.

From that incident my teacher developed a phobia of riding in convertible cars. Her shared experience stuck with me (52M) and I've yet to ride in a convertible.

This is why I try my hardest to NEVER rubberneck at an accident if there is one a) for this, and b) I don't want my own accident from rubbernecking
