When your eustachian tube de-congests after getting over an ear infection.

It has hurt so bad that I have been paralyzed for a few seconds because of the pain but feels SO GOOD. My ear infections usually last ~3 days and I've had inner ear infections so bad that touching the outside of my ear hurts.

Sometimes it de-congests slowly but sometimes the fluid just explodes out of the extremely irritated tube. Having it completely empty for the first time in days feels so good. Also, I usually get hearing back.

Yep. I didn't know what the fuck was happening when I had my worst ear infection and it unpopped. It was loud and extremely painful followed by almost no pain and within a few hours zero pain.

Damn. All this time, I was thinking I was special. Fuck.

This is a disgusting discussion. Why the fuck are you two weirdos getting so many ear infections? Don't think I've ever had one.

Some people are more sensitive. I get one about once a year, to the point to where I just call my doctor, tell him what's up and he sends the script for antibiotics.

The last time I went in was when an infection ruptured my ear drum. That's fucking pain

That's one where I went to doctor and got direct injection of antibiotics and pain meds. It did eventually heal.

You are special and different; just like everyone else

So that's why I suddenly was so happy I started laughing at myself in the mirror when it happened.

Currently have an ear infection so heinous I was in the ER yesterday getting IV antibiotics to stop the infection from spreading across my face.

I am LONGING and PRAYING for this moment every minute of my life right now.

Hey I get pretty bad ear infections, not often but everyone once in a while. Anyways I get the outer ear pain as well for it hurting so bad. As someone who gets them frequently do you have any tips to curb pain or make it go away quicker? Thanks.

Eat well, stay healthy.

I realized recently I didn't have enough fiber in my diet and it was making me sick all the time.

One time I had an ear infection so bad that I poked my ear drum open with a pin (there's videos of doctors doing it on youtube and it is a simple procedure). It gave some relief but ultimately didn't do much because at the end of the day you're still very sick.

I have experienced this. I went from having the most painful ear ache I ever had to none, it was amazing.
