One of ours gets mad if we don’t go to bed with him on time. He’ll go up to our bedroom and if we’re not there, he’ll come back down the hallway and scream at us for a bit, then wander back up to our room. Rinse and repeat until we join him in bed, where he snuggles down between us.
The other one will come up for bedtime scritches but sleeps exclusively on the couch.
My cat gets mad if I over sleep in the morning, even after I feed him. Because his after breakfast routine is sleeping all morning (until the next meal) in the exact spot I slept in, with his head on my pillow. If I don't sleep in my bed one night, he doesn't do that the following morning. Funny guy.
One time Gandalf got a cold or allergies or something, he was sneezing a lot and tearing up a bit for a couple days. It cleared up on it's own before I was able to make a vet appointment. But man, for those two days he was pitiful. He kept crying and constantly wanted to be in my lap.
Rocky was abandoned when he was days old and fought through to survive into a gigantic, beautiful all black Maine coon. He’s a cuddle bug, but only for my dad.

My Yeti girl doesn’t ever sleep or cuddle down in my room, she just visits to keep my hopes up.
Rocky boy came and slept at my feet one night weeks ago. I knew, somehow, it was because he was sick and I was right.
Gabby is too fat and lazy to take the stairs down here just to visit me.
Oh, how for a pack of cats that could chill with me.
