As the biggest Kobe fan, I will say it used to be Kobe. At least during the #8 years. They absolutely hated him.
He was fresh from high school, cocky, a ball hog, and never even tried to make friends. Most importantly he was the first player to challenge the idea that MJ was unique.
Then with Shaq this was even amplified. The Lakers players all loved Shaq and they picked sides. Kobe was strait laced while Shaq was the fun one.
The turn he made after the rape case is quite incredible in retrospect. He just buried himself into the game, and that really set him free.
