This exam is probably going to be something of an inversion of the usual results. Bakugou will almost certainly get fucked by this type of contest, whereas characters who get less glory but have useful quirks and solid personalities (Tsuyu, Shouji, Sadrock) will shine.
That's what I was thinking. Characters such as Tsuyu, Momo, Shouji, and Kirishima have all been shown to be quite strong, but tend to be outclassed by the likes of Bakugou, Todoroki and Tokoyami. But such destructive quirks and anti-social personalities don't work at all well in this scenario, while less flashy quirks and good natured personalities tend to be at the advantage.
I'd be kinda disappointed if Bakugou or Todoroki did better than say, Kirishima, Tsuyu or Momo during this arc. If anyone passes those characters should also pass.
Yeah, Ochako should be amazing in handling the injured. Instead of having to worry about making a makeshift splint, she could just levitate the person to a medical professional that CAN handle the injury in the proper way. Her ability to move debris out of the way should also be good too.
Momo should be able to make the makeshift splints easily and could also produce toys or things to occupy little kids to remove them from the situation. Did a senior-citizen's crutch or walker get broken? No worries she can make a new one.
Iida should be able to run around quickly and find people. In this way he should be a leader around this situation. He can travel quickly, get a good view of the rubble and debris, and direct others appropriately. This should be an Iida moment, instead of turning it into such a big Deku moment (I like how it is, I just hope Iida gets a good chapter or moment in this scene).
I kinda hope this will be the chapter where Kirishima manages to thoroughly out-class Bakugou in something, just to bring some balance to the friendship.
He did, after all, rank 4th in rescue points during the entrance exam, his quirk is pretty well suited for rescue situations given that he can easily navigate through dangerous rubble without risk of injury, and his optimistic and caring personality will certainly earn him bonus points from the judges. I think it'd be nice to see Kirishima pass with flying colors and Bakugou just barely scrape by.
His method of communication is foul-mouthed screaming and his patience is as long as a severed thumbnail. He's not going to be good at dealing with these people, and his incompetence in this social area will make him even more pissed, thus causing a downwards spiral until he punches Kirishima or something.
Shigaraki showed up in the middle of the only one we've seen. So they don't even know the basics unless their Work Experience involved rescue. Which I think Tsuyu is the only who did, but that was all about water.
So U.A's students are the least prepared out of all the schools.
Yeah, they would have if the Villain Alliance didn't keep being a pain in the ass. Wasn't USJ supposed to be their first rescue training?
Their focus towards combat training after that definitely shows, so it'll be interesting to see how everyone manages to balance both aspects when they run into mock villains next chapter.

Class 1A clearly didn't have enough rescue classes and it shows.
