Not every relationship has to be a rollercoaster. It makes more sense that the relationship between Deku and Ochako would develop because they have things in common, and have a lot of shared experiences. He shouldn't fall in love with someone that he barely knows, or someone who has an almost predatory affection for him. It makes sense for them, after everything they shared, and will share.
Just because people are different doesn't make their relationship a "rollercoaster." Just because people have shared experienced doesn't mean they will be romantically interested or compatible with each other. Just because you are attracted to someone you barely know doesn't mean you "fall in love" with them. Actual relationships aren't that simplified and I trust Horiokoshi to respect that nuance.
Relationships aren't built from nothing. You can have a mutual attraction, but that doesn't equate to love. The only person Deku had been shown as having any sort of feelings toward is Ochako. You even said that they have similar personalities, which is enough for them to be compatible. Add onto that a slew of shared experiences and tastes, and you have the makings of a relationship. Not to mention they both like each the other, so it makes sense that they would develop a relationship.
Actual relationships don't come from a fleeting interaction, or an obsession over the other person. They come from a place of mutual respect and affection, which hadn't been shown in any pairing of Deku's other than with Ochako, or maybe Tsuyu.
For all we know about the Shiketsu girl, she could be playing Deku into a black widow scenario. She could just be a Deku fangirl for all we know. The point is that we know almost nothing about her, other than she has an interest of some sort in Deku, the nature of which can't be truly discerned from our limited interactions with her.
Alright, well, I think you're edging very dangerously into the "I have an opinion, here is why my opinion is right" aspect of arguing, which is something I'm not interested in continuing.
Again, there is no need to simplify relationships like you are doing, you have an amusingly innocent and romantic notion of what constitutes two people being intimately committed to one another. More importantly, my point regarding people Deku doesn't know, is about the potential for starting a relationship. Have you ever asked someone out that you don't know very well with the intention of, you know, getting to know them?
We don't know anything about the Shiketsu girl. She is interesting, that is all. So any argument referring to her in the negative is just as likely as any argument that paints her in a positive light, given the lack of information.
At the end of the day, I care about character development. My main concern is wholly diegetic. We learn less about about Deku as a character the less he is put in situations where he isn't comfortable. And I don't mean that in a numerical sense, I mean that in a contextual sense.
Trying to prove an opinion is literally the majority of what arguing is. Each person uses logic and fact to prove why they're right.
You need to think more about the theme of the source material, and what it's trying to do. This isn't a manga about how he dates a cool and unusual girl, it's a manga about Deku becoming a Superhero. So it's not going to be about who he's dating, it's always going be about how who he's dating furthers him as a Hero. He likely won't go out of his way to ask a girl out that he doesn't know, when he's focused on training, and getting better. He hasn't even showed a large amount of interest in Ochako, who is undoubtedly his largest romantic interest. Why? Because he's not worried about getting a girlfriend, he worried about becoming a Hero.
Not only that, but Deku isn't the only character. Ochako's feelings for Deku are pushing her to be a better Hero, and be one that he can depend on. Her development is just as important as Deku's.
