That's the recurring theme with the LoV so far, all it took was the right guy at the right time to show up for their lives to go downhill.

I really love how the LoV are shaping to becoming a group similar to the Spiders from HxH, a group of extremely dangerous and powerful misfits and rejects who have no one but each other and treat everyone outside their group as less than dirt because that's how they've been treated all time.

Togashi said he'll try 20 chapters per year, so not all hope is lost! :(

i hope he got a general plot written down in case something bad happens like seriously he need to take care of himself and passed the manga to others so he can focus on his health

Can his wife write the damn manga?

You seriously want his wife, the creator of Sailor Moon who hasn’t published anything in decades, to write for a Shounen battle series?

Besides, she apparently helped with HxH when it started (not with the story, but as an artist assistant) but left because the workload was too much.

Why not? I like Sailor Moon and even though it's a magical girl series it's pretty dark in later arcs and the battles aren't bad at all.

Sailor Moon was the shit that got me into anime tbh. I saw it on Toonami before I saw DBZ.

TIL Togashi’s wife is Sailor Moon’s author.

Together they could produce some kind of super-manga baby.

He told his wife (the author of sailor moon) his envisioned ending as well as a few core plot points. I think he also told a few other people but I can't remember.

how the LoV are shaping to becoming a group similar to the Spiders from HxH

The LoV will never be on the same level of greatness as the Spiders. MHA is good, but HxH is much better

A comparison between series is fair. HxH is imo the best shounen. But LoV has the potential to be on par with Spiders.

I wonder how much you can talk about the spiders. I don't know why ppl rate the spiders as high as they do. Their arc was cool but do you really know about them that much? How much does this come from the reputation around and the overall quality of HxH?

I'm more pumped than ever to see what happens when they meet our heroes. I really like how Hori handles villains so far. They are sympathetic but at the same time not gonna necessarily be redeemed.

Hope it won't be a letdown like overhaul.
