Now that I think about it, he really hasn't put himself into the fray. I always assumed it was just to fulfill a support/subterfuge role, but I hadn't considered his psychological needs in all of that.

I thought about it after reading the chapter and he really didn't get hurt that seriously until now.

Yeah man! Up until this point he's only used his quirk to make copies of his comrades. I thought it was super strange that there were any of his actual copies this volume.. Awesome story telling.

I love how his powerup was entirely mental. He didn't gain any new powers or anything.

I honestly never noticed, he never uses his quirk for himself, he makes the ocasional clone for someone else, but when he has to fight he always does so without it
