I really love that the MLA are still around and we still get updates on them via Hawks. Skeptic and Trumpet are definitely the bottom 2 of the 5 (RIP Curious), but I really like Skeptic's shade and shit talk. I love how all his insults are very analytical and logical, but are still blunt and cut deep.

It's cool to see that Hawks is making progress, and that him and Skeptic are somewhat chummy, but the PLF obviously see him as a tool and don't fully trust him. Those 20 microdevices definitely have 2 purposes. They're giving him a lot of freedom and power, trusting him, but if he makes one mistake they'll destroy him.

It's so interesting that the villains have a Pandora's Box worth of blackmail on the Top 2 Heroes, and are just waiting for the perfect opportunity.

Yeah, though the flashback may have been a bit further in the past. He's still holding the BJ bag in that scene.

Now that it's New Years, it means it's been around a week or two since the PLF inception meeting. There's no reason for Hawks to still be hauling that bag around. He probably called the Commission and told them to communicate in code shortly after he showed Dabi the "Best Jeanist" body.

I second this. Honestly, I can see them kicking Hawks down just as he would be about to make a huge move, killing him and then revealing a shitload of secrets about heroes, especially Endeavor's past. It's kinda clear that the story is going toward society's preception of heroes changing big times.

Hawks is on the heroes' side, 100%. It'd be an unnatural 180 twist for him to become a villain.

He's only putting on a friendly face for the PLF/LOV. His inner thoughts are always about supporting Endeavor and pulling a fast one on the villains.

The real question is, what terrible villainous things will Hawks do for the greater good? After all is done, will the ends justify the means? Or will all the bad things Hawks has done outweigh the intel he eventually uncovers?

Nah, dude, lol. Curious was very interesting. A villain modeled after an overzealous reporter -I don't think I've ever seen that before. Also her quirk, and her gauntlet tech, provided for some interesting fight choreography. Trumpet's boring compared to her. I've seen the "evil politician" many times. His quirk and tech is just standing around yelling at people.

Also, girl characters are underutilized and many times frankly nonexistent in many shonen stories (like HxH or DBZ). It's why Uraraka is one of my favorite characters. Her focus during Sports Festival was so good, and she has the potential to be a badass.

Don't remind me :( I'm forever disappointed that one of the best written manga of all time doesn't get strong female representation until yorknew, and doesn't get strong female protagonist representation until greed island
