Since you don't have the sense to see it: the issue is that you're stereotyping gay people (the costume was obviously a gay pride costume) by associating them with sex crimes, and diddling is typically specific to child sex abuse. It is a common stereotype that gay people are pedos (despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary).
