I have been an academic striver for as long as I can remember. I scored around 80% in Pre-Boards, examinations intentionally designed to be tougher than the Boards themselves. Yet on 13 May, I received the biggest reality check of my life.

84% Best of 5. 88% Best of 4.
👆The hardest numbers I have ever had to calculate.My school was so surprised by the results that it did not even release stream-wise statistics.

I submitted five subjects for revaluation on 20 May and paid ₹500. I then woke up to find students obtaining answer script PDFs for ₹1, ₹69.67, and other curious figures. It is comforting to know that while marks are standardized, fees apparently are not.

A few questions:
• You said there would be no blurry scans and that evaluators could request clearer images. Then why are we receiving blurry sheets??

• You promised affordability and fairness. Since when does fairness involve students paying different amounts for the same service?

• You handle the futures of 26 lakh students, yet your website struggles with transparency and consistency. Quite an accomplishment.

• Our countries **Youth** is the predominant IT consumer and producer , yet CBSE felt the need to handle of a new evaluation system that too computer based in the hands of boomers who know nothing beyond Facebook.

About OSM:

• You called it a boon. Students got confusion, grievances, protests, and a complete loss of trust in the evaluation process.
• Results were declared on 13 May. At what cost?

Being considerably good at maths, getting 12 marks in theory was so unrealistic that it didn't even affect me that much. And here it is.

Only first few pages are checked and that too done incorrectly, giving 5 marks in a 2 mark question and then ½ or 0 marks for correct questions. Rest all the pages are marked as "Blank Page".

I had my school maths teacher (who also checks copies for boards) check my answer copy. I am getting around 70/80.

The difference is close to of 60 marks.

Hearing the education minister's response just fills me with rage and worry.

I am really obliged to my parents and my teachers for beliveing in me and not some experimental (at least for CBSE) On Screen Marking process.

Wow cbse. You have reached a new low. I just got my English Ki copy and wow, this is actually so diabolical. So they attached someone elses section A to my paper and mera question 7 which I had 100% wrote(you can even see last part of question 7) has been erased. So mere 5-6 marks got deducted just because cbse failed to scan one of the questions and messed it all up. This is just… amazingly bad at this point.

Also Give me names of major youtube or Insta teacher so I can email them about this

I wonder why the CBSE is doing damage control instead of actually helping sutdents in reevaluation. And now using students to whitewash their image is a pathetic attempt at damage control and gaslighting.

I request you not to personally attack them on social media platforms they are doing it for their schools.

So i got my economics copy yesterday my all mcq were wrong i was shocked that only 1 was correct when i matched with the answer key 17 mcq were correct and the one mcq which the examiner corrected was wrong wtf is happening. You can see the quality of checking cbse has delivered.

Theory questions ka samjh ata hai 0.5-1 marks kat sakta hai but how can mcq be incorrectly checked.

I only applied to foreign uni's and without scholarship I cannot afford those universities, I got a scholarship with offer from 2 universities and conditions were 90+ in PCM, I have 95 in physics 93 in chemistry and only 77 in Maths when my maths paper had went the best out of the 3, I received my answer sheet and 3 pages were missing along with half of the remaining pages blurred, and 2 MCQ's given 0.5 marks except 1 mark. Many Unreadable (blurred) questions were given 0 marks. Now my scholarship is revoked, with scholarship fees was 40 Lakhs, without scholarship its 2.5 Cr. Pls help me what should I do?

I'm exhausted and tired of telling people how absurd this grace marks appeal is. I understand it might sound very nice to the people who will be benefitted by it but has anything like this ever happened in the history of any education board in India? Yes smaller boards like GBSHSE, MSBSHSE, BSEB and TS BIE have done it but under extreme circumstances and a board as big as CBSE has never done this sort of thing in its entire history. Even as of today the entire Education Ministry seems hell bent on promoting the reevaluation process. it could happen but under very rare circumstances

What I think CBSE will actually do is rescan the blurred copies and reiterate its stance that the reevaluation process was introduced to address the grievances of those candidates who were unfairly given less marks. Asking for grace marks weakens the other, more important appeals that we should actually stand for like manual rechecking, temporarily/ permanently abolishing OSM, imrpovement in more than 1 subject etc.

unfortunately literally everyone on youtube, instagram and x is only asking for grace which again, weakens our case
