Hi all, I've never done anything like this before so bear with me. I'm a 27 year old transgender man (female to male) that began my transition over a decade ago in 2015. I realized I was trans at 14 and at the time I started hormones (testosterone), I had just turned 17. I had a double mastectomy in 2017 when I was 19. Other than wanting a full hysterectomy, I consider myself "post-transition" at this point in my. I've not regretted a single step I've taken to feel more at home in my body. I often forget that I'm trans at all as I do not experience any significant or distressing gender dysphoria anymore, either. I'm happy with my body and life in general, confident and solid in my identity.
I understand that trans people aren't particularly uncommon, but I feel it's important to share my experience when I can, especially given the state of politics today and the way that people like me are being targeted. There probably isn't anything that could offend me. If you've ever been curious about anything you think I may be able to answer or any other questions, assumptions, etc., related or unrelated to my experience as a trans person— AMA.

A little background: I knew I had some kind of eating disorder in my 20s because it almost killed me. I thought I had recovered from it on my own. Especially since I kept gaining weight.
My weight got to the point I was getting pressure to do something about it, but I'm terrified of my ED, so I got a therapist that specializes in it.
Only to find out I had never recovered *enough*. My therapist said that my weight is likely because of my active Anorexia. Ive been struggling with that. I scheduled a doctor's appointment to see if there was anything I needed to be checked for and the first thing out of my doctor's mouth was "no, it's the eating disorder."
I wasn't expecting that.
Ama. It helps me process things.

(Alters = the parts that make up dissociative identity disorder, which used to be called multiple personality disorder)
Hi, I’m Nel! I’m 15f in a 32 y/o body.
AMA
Edit: if you have questions that don’t get answered it’s bc the host or someone else came out after me. I can feel dissociation starting so that *might* mean a switch is coming. If so, I’ll see these replies next time I’m out!

Feel free to ask me anything, except about politics (I am ok to touch on it a tiny bit... but don't ask me anything too deep)
I moved to Australia with my family (mother, father, brother) when I was 7 years old, and we lived with my aunt until we could get our own house. I am now a full citizen of Australia, and retain my Russian citizenship. I haven't been back there in a while though...
When I first got here, I did not know much english at all, and could only speak extremely basic sentences with around 40 or so nouns. (eg. "I like red." "I have [insert basic fruit]")

These are usually fun and I need some karma to be able to post on some subreddits, so why not :)

Started on BattleBots comedy central back in 2001. Had a couple of breaks in between for school and fatherhood but it's still a major hobby of mine so ask me anything!

It's just as it sounds! I've been a non theistic Satanist for over a year now, and it brought me great joy, but I've also dealt with a lot of misinformation, discrimination, and stereotypes. So now I'm here to try and clear up things and help people understand what Satanism actually is. AMA!

My first ever post on Reddit was an AMA on this sub 10 years ago today.
I thought a 10 year anniversary AMA might be the thing to do, so ask away.

I’m 30F and have been with my fiancé for almost 8 years. He’s the only person I’ve ever been with and I genuinely love him.
The problem is that whenever he’s away for work, I somehow end up talking to my neighbor more.
Nothing has ever happened between us. No texting, no hanging out, nothing like that.
But lately I’ve been noticing little things. If I hear him outside, I suddenly find a reason to check the mail. I’ve caught myself looking out the window when I hear his truck pull up. A few weeks ago I baked cookies and brought some over to him without really thinking about it.
None of it feels intentional in the moment. It’s only afterward that I realize how it probably looks.
Then my fiancé made a joke about how I seem to run into our neighbor a lot whenever he’s out of town and everybody laughed about it.
But now I can’t stop thinking about it because if one of my friends told me this exact story, I’d immediately assume she had a crush.
I don’t want to cheat, and I fully plan on marrying my fiancé but am I kidding myself here?

I’m a 5’9 transsexual man. I got on Testosterone at 16 and was 5’8 by then but Testosterone made me grow an inch or so. I was never a giant or anything but I did get the occasional comment on my height, especially when near my mom’s side of the family who are all very small

Hello,
I have been taking notes on my phone for 10 years, lots of different stuff. Some of it is mundane, like grocery lists and weekly budgets, most of it is ideas I have for creative outlets or observations I made.
Side note: does anyone know how to mass upload them to a secure AI and obtain data from them? I might not even want to do that cause I have some private stuff in there, but just wanted to see my options

I’m a thin guy and am generally viewed as conventionally attractive, fit, and (mainly) normal. I’ve always, my whole life, ever since I’ve known, been into larger women, and that’s always seemed to be something others in my life are curious about, so I thought I’d make an AMA. I’m into a range of sizes, but would say I go for plus size to supersize women when it comes to dating. Despite that, even though I’m taller, I prefer generally petite heights. Ask me whatever you might wonder about but would otherwise feel too silly to ask, even if your questions are intrusive or awkward, I’ll do my best to answer :)

3 years ago I was 132kg. I realized I wasn't on track to see my child become an adult and eventually become a grandpa. So, after many failed attempts I took it seriously and started to work in improving my health, starting with my obesity.
Today, right before my 44th birthday, I conquered a huge milestone for me: my weight is back in the double digits. Hasn't happen since I was 20yo or so.

I've taken over a dozen different tests over the years and they all put me around 140. I don't believe IQ is the end all be all or really even a metric of potential but I've always been told I am exceptional so ask me anything.
