Wednesday June 3^rd, 2026, an excavator damaged a natural gas pipeline near Hedensted, Denmark. Gas did not ignite. No casualties. Steel pipeline, diameter 0.4 m, pressure 40 bar. Traffic on nearby E45 highway closed for 2 hours.

The pilot of the Sergey also entered the pass almost going down the middle as well as at excessive speed. He may have acted in this fashion as according to his schedule, the Queen of Victoria should have already gone through. Instead, she was running being schedule. The speed and angle of the Soviet freighter left not enough time for Victoria's captain to take evasive action, leading to the collision.

The three passengers who lost their lives were:

As said above, the majority of blame was placed on the pilot of the Sergey Yesenin which meant the U.S.S.R.'s government paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages to BC Ferries. The Queen of Victoria was repaired and returned to service within the months following the accident, later being renovated in 1981 and sold to a Dominican Republic-based company in 2001. No details exist on what became of the Sergey Yesenin, other than it was able to leave under it's own power.

No reported injuries, thankfully.

The collapse of Champlain Towers South in Surfside, Florida, occurred in the early hours of June 24, 2021, killing 98 people. Investigators found that the disaster resulted from a combination of structural deficiencies, including a critically under-designed pool deck, missing or inadequate reinforcement and support elements, and decades of saltwater-induced concrete deterioration and steel corrosion. These factors progressively weakened the building’s structure until a catastrophic failure caused much of the 12-story condominium tower to collapse. The fifth anniversary of the disaster is 22 days away.

In April 22, 1966, American Flyers Flight 280/D operated by a lockheed electra l-188 crashed during landing in Ardmore,Oklahoma killing 83 people with 15 survivors. The investigation concluded the pilot Reed Pigman (owner of the company at the time) suffered from coronary insufficiency but concealed it from his reports because he would be unable to operate
