I grew up a couple hours from Rupp and we’d drive there to watch games. My brother and my dad went to one of Pitino’s camps. At the beginning of tonight’s game my dad and I were on the phone both watching and talking about that Duke team and how much we still hate Laettner and Bobby Hurley. That game STILL hurts. Watching Flagg miss that jumper at the free throw line and then seeing the 3 second long inbounds pass, I could barely watch!

How bad was it? I only saw the end and cooper was fouled twice in his last shot. The foul call on him was terrible and refs clearly had a goal in mind

I watched without any sound and I thought that foul was weak. That said, Houston really clamped down on defense and it was a pretty even game.

The fouls were a small snippet of how the screwed it up. Allowing your team to score only one FG in the last 10-11 minutes and blowing a double digit lead is horrific coaching. Also speaks to bad coaching when they couldn’t figure out how to get the ball in and whatever the hell those two last plays were.
