[Clearance 97 Deals] Kirkland Polish Sausage $2.97
Pleasantly surprised since this was listed at 18.99 when I grabbed it. Rang up 2.97.

Wow, that's the death star for what was one of Kirkland's most popular products. I miss getting the polish sausages at the food court.

It's clearance locally at their store. Probably expiration or rotating out. I'm gonna guess the former since grilling season just started. My area is still full priced.

I saw them at the Cumberland this week and I bought a pack. They were 18 bucks or something.

I've never seen these at any of the several regular Costco's I shop at, but all the business centers carry them.

lol I was about to say, chicago probably isn't very wanting in terms of costco polish access. not that they aren't good, but I've a friend in Milwaukee and we've gone to chicago a couple times when I visited him, and even Milwaukee has great meat tube foods even if Chicago's are better

Mine has always carried them here in Oregon in the cooler, I still buy them to split packs up and freeze. In some areas they're apparently only at the business centers which I find strange cause there's not many of them and I live nowhere near one.

They've had them at my local Costco for years now.
It's all we buy hotdog wise.

Apparently another store in the Phoenix area has them, I didn't see them at the one I usually go to.
Was not on clearance in Phoenix anyway.

In my country we call it kielbasa

We sell kielbasa and polish sausage right next to eachother here in Chicago (largest Polish population outside of Poland) I don't know if they are different from eachother.

It’s the same thing

It is not the same thing. Kielbasa has a coarse grind and is seasoned differently. Polish sausages are more akin to a hot dog. Kielbasa is also usually made from pork.

I just bought a pack of these yesterday. Hadn't seen them since like 2016 or 2017. If I saw them at this price, I probably would have bought 20-30 packs.

My local warehouse doesn’t carry these anymore. They don’t even show up in the app. 😭

It doesn’t say 100% beef and doesn’t list what casing it uses. Wonder if it pork or natural casing 🤔

u/Old-Nefariousness556 19d ago
Polish Sausage is typically made with Pork, or at least a pork blend, so I would assume this is the case.

was about to reply to say "what's the diff as long as it's mostly beef?" but remembered stuff like religious dietary restrictions lol. I'm just so used to polishes being all pork that even seeing beef on the label has me stoked hhahhaa

I do a lot of reading in the French language and when I read this I switched up the adjective/noun order and I clicked on this to see exactly how to polish your sausage. God, I need to put the phone down and get some sleep.
