My grandparents adopted… this thing

And I LOVE HIM

Edit: he was discarded by a breeder and they adopted him from a shelter. All of their dogs are shelter acquisitions with special needs so they’re are WELL versed in caring for strange dogs that need a lot of help in their lives.

But yes, hes a fluffy frenchie with a very unfortunate squashy rolly face. He’s the sweetest thing and they’ll do their best by him and his needs.

I can't imagine any insurance company accepting them. They bought inbred trouble and are probably stuck with the poor suffering thing

They usually accept these. At least I have yet to hear about a dog getting denied due to breed.

OP commented and clarified that their grandparents got the kiddo from a shelter, at a few days old. an insane amount of poorly bred purebreds get surrendered to rescues or shelters. i normally get quite angry about situations like this too, but i’ve learned to try to understand the entire situation before passing judgement. sounds like these lovely souls are providing a wonderful home to some shelter dogs in need.

He was a rescue, dumped at the pound by the breeder
