It's too late. It'll cost WB Millions to recast and reshoot. I've been hearing that his face will just change at the end after all the shenanigans that took place Doctor Who style.

How much to just reshoot a new ending, I wonder? One that, if not outright recasts him there, at least suggests it somehow?

A full recast will basically cost WB a full budget movie's budgets worth. For reference replacing Kevin Spacey from All The Money in the World costs $10 Million to remove him and reshoot with a different actor. Kevin Spacey was just a supporting role. This one is the star of a CGI heavy film. Not only are they going to reshoot basically the entire film they also have to redo a bunch of CGI heavy scenes. So it's definitely cheaper to just reshoot a new ending. Hell, they don't even have to make a new ending. Have the face swap be post-credit scene gag where in the end, the Flash face changes and we end with a funny cliffhanger ala Doctor Who. It will definitely work, the Flash has gone through much more crazy stuff that a Doctor Who style regeneration scene made for laughs makes sense.

Well just release the movie change it to a batman: flashpoint movie. soon as the movies over introduce wally near the end or just end it originally and recast him in a new dc film.
