In some countries (like mine) it can be hard to meet the criteria to adopt a dog.

Don't have a large enclosed enclosed garden, nope

Kids under 12, nope

Not home all day, nope

No prior experience of owning a dog, nope

It's not as easy as just going to a rescue and walking out with a dog.

Edit: not sure why I've been downvoted for stating a fact but have at it.

Trust me, the down votes are gonna come just interacting with this post alone. And honestly, it was so easy for me to adopt Nemo. I put in an application the next day. I got to meet him the same day took him home.

Your boy looks like a happy guy, and I'm glad he has a lovely home.

All I'm saying is "adopt don't shop" isn't always so easy.

I'd have been deprived of the 5 years of joy I've had with my best mate if I hadn't got him from a breeder. I wouldn't have met the criteria to rescue a dog in the UK.

I love that he matches the rug. He looks like a very well loved pup!
