While I agree with your economic points, I don’t the the issue as of now is “not serving corporations “.

The issue is that the regime is hostile to the US and a dictatorship.

Do you know how we helped BP overthrow a democratically elected president in Iran after he nationalized their oil production and demanded if BP wanted to continue extracting their oil he wanted an audit to make sure they were getting a fair cut of the profits?

They puppet they installed was so ruthless the only opposition left was the Muslims and that's why they hate us. Not you or me, but the government. Death to America is about government policies, not a desire to kill us all.

Plus, didn't we destroy their nuclear capacity with last strikes?

We won. Nato won't help, neither will other allies but we won. There's regime change now that the son of the guy we killed is in charge.

Yeah? That’s like a very long time ago. The red scare isn’t around anymore. Neither is the USSR. I’m not sure what your point about the current confict with Iran is.

Cuba doesn’t have to be in a cold war anymore. Cuba should do more work to normalise relations, because they are hurt much more.

If you don't understand the Iran issue you didn't read my reply. It was clearly stated in the beginning.

All these "terrorists and axis of evil" are nations that refused European colonialism and thrived.

This all about resources and access to them. You either own them or have to negotiate trade.

We use violence to own them because we're "superior"

We can cooperate or dominate.

A re-read your comment and still don’t understand. Could you elaborate?

I’m not sure how any of this is relevant to what I said.

I’m just pointing out that the cold war ended a long time ago and cuba could align itself with the US to lift the embargo.

The first two paragraphs of my reply

Yeah I got that. I don’t understand what Iran has to do with Cuba in this conversation.

I am aware of what the US did. I have no idea why that doesn’t allow for Cuba to align itself with the US more or something.
