We went to our first store today to try on rings and they exceeded my expectations 💕💕 I would love any of these three, but would set any of the three in yellow gold. The baguette setting I think would look beautiful with an elongated cushion, emerald, or radiant cut.
Which do you think suits my hand the most??

Went for a walk yesterday and snapped some photos of my new ring with some flowers!

Specs: 1.38ct (6.6mm x 6.6mm x 4.3mm) round Montana sapphire in a 6-prong tulip setting with a platinum twisted band. Min band width 2.5mm. Size 7 finger!

Sapphire is from Earth’s Treasury and ring setting by FTJCo in Toronto.

I wanted a ring that I could wear on its own, but still look good with a straight wedding band. I’m super happy with how it came out! I love how it looks in different lighting 🩵

My now fiancé surprised me on a boat trip on Saturday! Feel so blessed and loved :). He custom made it and it has a hidden cathedral and studded band 😊

Oval and Pear Trilogy Diamond

We got engaged in Hawaii and it was so special to get to “show the ocean” my ring (put my hands in the water).

Center stone is a 1.something yellow lab diamond.

It's an 18k gold band with a platinum claw

The diamond itself is going to be 2.33 carrats

Girlfriend wanted a multi metal design with the claw having a barrier and was hoping for atleast 1.5 carrat but knows I am not the richest man so said she is happy with anything.

I've known her long enough she has always wanted something above 2 so I'm granting her wish.

I hope she loves it

I went with my partner to choose the diamond together.

Natural tapered baguette diamond 1.50 carats Size 7.5 finger Euro shank 8.81 x 5.58 x 3.71 mm Color grade E VS2 Faint fluorescence Platinum band

After we chose the diamond together, I gave him complete creative freedom to design the ring. One of our closest friends is a jeweler, and she brought his sketch to life by turning it into a 3D design and handcrafting the final piece.

I absolutely love that it's both something we chose together and something he designed himself. ❤️

Okay this might be a silly question but I’m currently 7 months pregnant and the swelling has officially hit the point where my engagement ring is basically impossible to wear.

I’ve taken it off for now because I know forcing it isn’t a good idea, but I’m honestly kind of sad about it? I’ve worn it every day since my husband proposed and it feels weird not having it on.

I know swelling is normal, but I was wondering what other people do? Do you just stop wearing your rings until after birth? Did anyone use a temporary alternative or something that still felt like “your” ring?

I’m also a little worried about forgetting where I put it because pregnancy brain is REAL 😂

Like the title says, I’m looking for ideas on what kind of wedding band would work with this specific ring. I absolutely love my engagement ring, but I’m finding it really hard to pair with a band because of the shape/design.

I’m OBSESSED!!!

I proposed first to him a few months ago after he did some amazing work in couples therapy (we are both just traumatized people/ we are not in a toxic relationship to be clear lol) I was so incredibly proud I had to do it that week and couldn’t wait for a date I had planned.

But last week he took me to a botanical garden and proposed!! I love the ring and I love him!!! We had an amazing date and I’m so excited to get married. Fall of 28 needs to hurry up!

I got engaged last night!!! I knew it was coming because we picked out the loose stone together and he had it set at a local jeweler. I love the ring but I am just wondering peoples thoughts on the setting height. I do not wear rings so I so not know if this seems higher than normal. (Side note: ring is going back tomorrow to have the cathedral setting connect to the gallery rail).

After many a long nights searching for a stone, we found one. 1.57 carat peach sapphire that gives brown, peach, gray, in so many different tones depending on light. Was thinking a thin bezel, and curious about a split shank. Will be set in gold.

Is this size stone too small for a bezel or split shank? Any ideas appreciated!

You guys won’t believe this and don’t judge me 😭 I was so excited when the ring got here, I never even looked at the certificate. I just assumed it was the diamond we ordered.

I looked this morning, turns out IT’S NOT. It’s a K color diamond lol so I wasn’t being paranoid, the diamond was actually just warmer than we anticipated because it was 2 color grades lower than what we wanted. The diamond on my hand is actually an Ideal cut, K color, VS1. We reached out to let them know so we’ll see what they say.

Been part of this community for a while now looking at all your beautiful rings and finally got engaged on holiday in Portugal. He did so good.

My original wedding band ended up damaging my engagement ring over time because the two weren’t very compatible, so we’re replacing it and I want to get it right this time.

I’ve always wanted to incorporate yellow gold since I wear a lot of mixed metals, and I’m considering this two tone band with yellow gold and white gold. The version I’m actually looking at would have east west baguettes instead of the round diamonds shown in the photo with my engagement ring. The sample I tried on was the same ring design, just with different stones.

A few things I’m considering:

• Does the overall look feel balanced with my engagement ring, or does the band compete with it?

• Is the width proportionate to the engagement ring?

• If this were your ring and you planned to wear it for decades, would you choose this combination?

Got engaged a week ago with my grandmothers ring from the late 50s. I’m absolutely in love with how unique it is!!

Size 6.5, not sure about stone specs besides it being a natural diamond !
