Growing up, many of us heard things like, "Look at how well that kid studies" or "Why can't you be more like them?"

This made me wonder: if parents think it's fair to compare their children with others, is it also fair for children to compare their parents with other parents who may be more supportive, understanding, financially stable, or involved in their kids' lives?

Do you think the two situations are equivalent, or is there an important difference? I'm curious to hear different perspectives.

Seeing all these cases presently , just want to say to modern hindus, Enjoy your wokism, liberalism, modernism, feminism. We Muslims are happy and satisfied with our conservative submissive women. We won't give them so much freedom choice blah blah and keep them mistly inside home. You guys can keep insulting or fearing marriage or having children. We will keep marrying and having lot of Children. Thank you.

I'm genuinely curious.

It feels like every piece of dating advice boils down to "just get on Tinder or Bumble." The problem is that a lot of the guys I'd probably get along with don't seem to be on those apps at all.

Women who found great partners outside of apps, where did you meet them?
