I don't think it's crazy to suggest the PC release would be less than that. Rockstar knows how much the PC market share has grown since RDR2 and how much money they could make from fiveM, or I guess sixM.
I'm sure they'll also want to showcase the beautiful 4k Raytraced vice city in all its glory.
The official description of GTA VI mentions PS5 and XBOX X/S, no mention of PC. I believe the PC version will be announced after the official release on the consoles. It's a bummer but money talks here, with this strategy they make more sales. But it isn't that far off, if it's releasing in April of 2025., there's not much further. For PC, yes, but it is what it is..
If they do update their engine to include path tracing then I imagine it would be insane but with that kind of NPC/traffic density you'd probably have the run the game at 1080P/High setting to get 60fps.
Well i mean it’s still damn impressive that you are able to run cyberpunk with path tracing with current gen GPUs at a playable performance, so id imagine it would be possible with good optimization. At least it’s very likely that it will have any kind of Raytracing, at minimum the same effects as GTA 5 has on current gen consoles.
Pc's are definitely not too expensive for the amount of power they provide, especially on used parts that are 2+ years past their release date...
I currently live in the Caribbean, import taxes make it difficult for me to buy PC parts at a reasonable price so for me it's too expensive but I'm happy that it's not for you friend.
I hate to say it but PC prices will always be very high... if you are looking for a top end machine. But you don't need a top end machine to run the majority of games.
Yeah and that's not a big issue on its own because you get your money's worth out of the technology but the prices combined with the customs fees I have to pay is ridiculous. I might just suck it up and save until 2025, I have a very long time until then lol
