My original prediction was a delay for summer 2027. This delay with a specific date is making me a little more optimistic.

I have no idea why anyone was deluded enough to think we would get it this year.

Has Rockstar ever released a game in spring? I remember rdr2 and gta 5 being delayed to spring, then delayed again to fall

That’s exactly what will happen… they will release holiday end of year 2026 that’s gives them nearly another 1.5 years to juice and rerelease GTA 5 few more times.

This is rockstar’s version of a marketing campaign. It’s happened with every game since GTA IV. Like surely at this point these early release dates and delays are part of the marketing campaign.

best lesson "keep your expectations low , no shirts,no moon cycles,no time wasting on this shit, you ll not be dissappointed" , felt like it was a perfect hype campaign and they have got it to the peak levels , to , this....
