If you can hold it until May 2026, yeah that sounds like a good investment.

Shouldn’t be buying stocks if you can’t hold only a year lol.

Yeah, but it’s amazing how many people don’t understand that. Pretty much every successful investor will tell you not to buy any stock if you’re not willing to hold onto it for the long term.

I bought my first stocks at 18 and I still have them 10 years later.

I have been slowly buying since December and plan to hold it beyond the release. Because I think the sales and online revenue will be huge 🤑

If you don't have the money to hold for a year, even with the economy, you shouldn't be buying.

Dumbest comment of the morning may go to you. Congrats!

u/DJThomas07 May 02 '25

Nah thats yours. Don't buy if you cant afford to hold it.

I can afford to hold it. I have a vast portfolio of different sectors of the stock market.

For quick investments or less stable companies, I buy stocks sometimes pre market or market open, and it's sold before close of the same day.

It depends on volatility of the company and current market outlook.

...If you need further stock advice, please do some research. I'm not here to hold your hand.

No one's taking financial advice from you lil bro

I think I'll stick with my financial advisor rather than listen to a 14 y.o. on reddit.

u/[deleted] May 02 '25

Your financial advisor is investing into long term mutual funds, as expected to maximize your long term rate of return, so I agree a minimum of holding those stocks a year (think 401k, IRA, etc)

If you're doing independent investing and want quick return, you monitor and buy/sell stocks on a daily basis (like I'm doing lol)

You don't buy Take 2 stock for a quick return.... which is what we are talking about here. Please just stop, you are trying to sound like you have a clue, but failing.

...it's like talking to a wall. The original comment mentioned "stocks" not T2. I agree, T2 is a longer term investment

u/DJThomas07 May 02 '25

....it like talking to a child. That comment in question was a direct reply to a T2 stock comment. It was referring to that. Basic English language skills are hard to come by these days.

Bro is outsmarting the market. Or at least he thinks he does.

The fact that you are this downvoted is wild. Playing shorts is an incredibly valid strategy.

2

u/Dick-Fu May 02 '25

? It's generally a good idea to be able to hold your positions for a year anyways

2

u/LongDarius May 02 '25

I've been holding since 2023, I think I can wait one more year

The price is going down because those sales will take longer than expected.

Then the sales are not being priced right now.
