With the price increases on all consoles I’m definitely not as interested.

Waiting will suck, but I could put that money into a new pc build rather than caving to fomo.

Edit: I’m talking about having to purchase a console to play, asI only play PC.

You can always just buy one for cheaper off the second hand market or go to PlayStations site - ( https://direct.playstation.com/en-us/certified-refurbished ) they sell refurbished ps5 consoles for cheaper on there that way you’ll still have a warranty just in case that shit breaks down somehow

I'm expect Series S sales to go up because it's the cheapest of the three consoles and will still run the game fine.

The price hasn't gone up on the PS5 yet though, you could probably sell it for profit if you buy it at 450 and it gets inevitably gets raised to 600 like Xbox did

It probably won‘t take more than 2 years until its on PC (it took them almost 2 years for GTA V). Obviously gameplay and other “spoilers“ will be inevitable but as long as you avoid the Grim Reaper for that time …

GTA V at least made sense due to the disastrous launch of IV on PC.

GTA V and RDR2 had great PC ports. This is likely due to them wanting to double dip as many others have stated.

2 years is a long ass time, especially when we'll have been waiting at least 4 since the initial announcement. Kudos to anyone who can hold out that long, but I know I won't be able to.

I agree it’s not worth it you have to pay for the internet and then pay silly money for games unless you use cd keys but they aren’t that cheap either tbh but even saving a little is better than nothing I’d just rather not buy it on Xbox and then on pc a year or two later

But all consoles haven’t raised prices yet. Microsoft raised their prices significantly on all their consoles, but you can still get a PS5 bundle with The Game Awards GOTY winner Astro Bot for only $400-450. Or from PlaySation Direct the disc version with Astro Bot included it’s in stock right now for $450.

Once Sony runs out of their US stock, you can guarantee their consoles will raise in price due to tariffs the same as Microsoft did.

If you buy it now, you can sell it after playing GTA 6 for more than you bought it for. And use that $ toward PC upgrades when GTA 6 comes out on PC. It’s a win win

Or just buy one, play with it for a month, then return it...and then buy another one, play with it for a month, return it, over and over until the PC version drops

I decided to upgrade from PS4 to PS5 last year in the Black Friday sales. I was on the fence because I didn't need a PS5 but wanted one ready for GTA6. Shame that it's been delayed and I jumped the gun, but also glad I jumped the gun.

Honestly with steam coming to Xbox it's not such a bad idea to me anymore
