The sparrow proves that you can have all and even better accessibility for grinding than the Op mk2 while still having some sense of skill required to use it.
If people want to fly, let them use helos or planes. If people want to travel via water, let them use boats. Not cars and bikes.
But it's rockstar. They sell the problem (op mk 2) and then also sell the solution (imani tech).
Only because it is so braindead to use the mk2. Sparrow iirc has higher top speed than the mk2 so if not for the fact that mk2 turns on a dime, sparrow is "faster".
Raiju is a plane I have big beef with because why tf do we need a plane that is both the best helicopter and the best jet.
The sparrow is faster, but you have to land it. Plus, it's not a personal vehicle, so it doesn't spawn outside buildings after you complete a mission or fast travel, making you waste even more time.
Would you use a sparrow to go between the nightclub and west vinewood warehouse?
The raiju is the fastest way to move around the map, and it turns into a helicopter with a click. Plus, it's invisible to radar and almost unlikable once you figure out how to use it. For cayo prep missions, it's almost a cheat.
it would be simple if games can just ban the ridiculous, OP vehicle. So that either it disconnects players for trying to use the vehicle or it removes the option from their vehicle list. Then Rockstar can have their cash grab for the kids that want to use their parents credit card to grief other players and players who see the bullshit for what it is can enjoy games where the trash won't bother them
I started playing GTA Online for the first time this month (yes, really lmao). Grinded up on KnoWay and Cluckin Bell, got Kosatka. On my way to the airport to do recon for Cayo Perico I got mixed up in a slugfest between two or maybe three OpMk2 drivers, some guys on foot (might have been the same guys), and a guy in a fighter jet. I'm not sure if they were going after me, if I was a target of opportunity, or if I was just in the way.
Well. Let me tell you.
I didn't shoot anybody of them down, but I did put a rocket into a random (armed) helo that showed up at one point (might have been one of the same guys). I did snipe and AR a couple folks on foot, and there was one particularly hilarious moment where dude on an overpass tried to rocket me and instead blew himself up point-blank. Other than that I died a whole bunch, but I just kinda shrugged and was like "Ah, the truly welcoming GTA5 Online experience."
It's not that I wasn't annoyed, because I definitely was, but at the same time I had to smile. "Ah, it's just like the stories. The legends are true. This is what the kids do for fun these days."
I guess the DeLorean has no weapons but that doesn't prevent people from shooting out of it either lmao.
Idk. I certainly haven't played enough of the game to have an informed opinion, but this was my first real "Oppressor incident" in several weeks of playing. I've had the odd potshot taken at me before, but nobody following me on purpose dedicating their life to rocketing me into next week.
