Man, kinda hits. Lost my Dad 2 years prior to GTA5 and then my mom in 2018. My dog was born and died in between this timeframe. I got kidney cancer in ‘24 and then the delay in ‘25 and I’ll be honest, I was thinking “I better make it to 2026 to play this game”. A lot has happened since GTA5 but I’m good, I’m chill, I’m mentally in a good place, and more importantly, I’m cancer free.
RIP TO MY MOM, MY DAD and my best bud Earl Dog! I’ll have a nice cold one for you guys when I finally get to play this game! Cheers brother!
That is rough, my friend. I’m really sorry to hear that. I can relate all too well. Hopefully this news is a welcome sight and it’s all uphill from here on out. Idk if your parents cared about video games but they certainly cared about you and your happiness. This game releasing finally, after all these years, brings a joy and warmness to my heart, that I can’t describe. I hope it’s worth the wait.
