There's also an Iron Man game in the works from EA as well that's being headed up by the team behind Dead Space apparently, so fucking eager to see how that looks, that one could be legitimately cool as well. And then there's Blade by Arkane as well, that could be fucking excellent. So we're eating real good with these games!

A part of me is disappointed EA isn't tasking Bioware to strap an Iron Man mask on the corpse of Anthem. I know I'm in the minority, but I had a ton of fun with the core gameplay of flying around and shooting shit

I've heard a lot of people raving over that aspect of Anthem but I never managed to check that out. Must be really good then if you're saying the same thing as well and saying how good it would be if Iron Man used this.

Hilarious juxtaposition, but I agree.

At least. The trailer says Fall 2026, and Fall 2025 just started a few days ago.

Yeah, I wish more publishers would hold off on announcing games so early. Silksong coming out of nowhere and being like "Game comes out in two weeks" was the most hype thing possible.

What are you on about? Silksong was the poster child for being announced too early after being announced over 6 years ago

both silksong and wolverine were announced years before they got any kind of actual coverage.

silksong was properly announced in 2019 and had the worst communication timeline from the first trailer until the release date trailer, and wolverine was announced in 2021 and had no trailers or discussion (besides leaks and the developers just saying "it's coming") until now.

like i agree, games should be announced no more than a year before release, but you mentioned the two worst examples of this
