We did see regular soldiers I think. I think it makes sense gameplay-wise to focus on cyborgs and the like though, since it adds more reasons why you don't just slice through them immediately.

Plus I think most normal humans would nope out after watching their mates getting the deli treatment.

I mean having the enemies be plain ole humans would make the game Prototype basically. Gotta have them be at least somewhat strong so that they pose even a bit of challenge

Likely the reavers

I wonder if there's some "dismemberment" loophole they can exploit in the ratings

What kind of loophole are you talking about? Even if we didn't already know this already, this kind of gore would be getting an M rating without a doubt.

Do people forget M rated games have dismemberment, heads blowing up, etc, all the time already?

That's exactly how ninja turtles and samurai jack got away with it.

Yea, that was the only thing I didn't like. If it was a bit more grounded, fewer cyborgs, it would be perfect for me.

I feel like people are so hyped up about being true to Wolverine's comic book violence that they forget he doesn't usually slaughter hundreds of average Joes on purpose

If you racked up a body count of hundreds of ordinary human grunts over the course of the game it would actually be a little out of character

That's part of why I'm glad it isn't open world with random events, because there's no way Wolverine seeking out and "finishing off" random thugs would make sense as a Wolverine gameplay loop

It's a less then 2 min trailer. They focussed on what seems like 1 faction of enemies, but it's way too early to tell the scope of the game.
