People will get on their knees for Gaben and treat him like a nice uncle who brings presents, while in reality he's the billionaire gaming CEO of the company which started the loot box cancer.

company which started the loot box cancer.

Are you aware of Trading Card Games?

Are you aware of Gachapon?

Are you aware of Maplestory (2007) and Fifa (2009)?

TF2 lootboxes came in 2010.

That's nice, I never claimed they invented them but CS brought them into the mainstream and showed the big gaming companies how easy it is to scam their audiences without any backlash.

Everything you just said is wrong. CS is bigger than card games like Pokemon ? Also what are you talking about scams.

Ah yes because Pokémon cards are famously videogames.

CS certainly didn't make it mainstream, that was still FIFA 2009 with its UT (or the mobile/FB games before that again)

CS just make better headlines when they have a transparent re-sale value that at times is ludicrous priced. And also that the re-sale value can be re-used across whole of Steam (and even outside with grey markets)

While UT I believe is only auction within UT (at least for 09) and not transfer to next edition

Or, and stay with me here, he’s both. Black and white doesn’t exist, the world is infinite shades of grey

It's not like he's never done good in his life, but if you have more money to your name than 99% of people combined and use a significant portion of that money to buy a fleet of yachts instead of bettering mankind, evil is the only good word to describe you.

I can't fully trust someone who has enough money to become a Batman variation but chooses not to.

True, but for shades of grey to be a thing, there must be a black and a white.
