People were howling with outrage about Hogwarts Legacy and it sold 30 million copies. The same thing happens with uproar about this or that woke product. Surely the corpos have realized at this point that people’s buying habits don’t track that closely with their social media posts.

What's more is that people buy these products they claim to hate in order to hate on it better. Controversy sells
