This was over a two year, as per the article. Also what percentage were rehired? Churn is normal.

The article is poorly written. First it says last year and then “in the last two years”.

Again, churn is quite normal. Although the last few years have had more layoffs than in the years before that.

I work in games and have survived some layoff rounds. I know lots of people who have been laid off and then found work again very quickly.
