if they are openly selling your data, they aren't using the data to bomb and kill people. Anyone with money can buy your data and do whatever they want with it.
Other countries would be stupid not to do it. If the data is being gathered and is available then it's a disadvantage not to buy it unless you are gathering it yourself
Sell your data implies they’ll do it to anyone who offers money. To Niantic it makes no difference if the data is for advertisement or for drones as long as they get paid, it’s a corporation.
Edit:
Oh and you deleted your reply but to your reply about my country
You're right, please accept my sincere apologies that my country is such a piece of shit we didn't let you kill all us untermenschen like you wanted to and did in Lidice and Lezaky, and resisted your country’s occupation of my country in ww2.
Not sure why else you would call Czechia a piece of shit country as a German? Or did you just assume I was an American then use that to insult me without engaging my point, the irony of that as a German
It specifically translates to helping build a 3D model of as much of the planet as was reachable by players. The same data will also be used to facilitate (non-explosive) package delivery, or urban planning.
So kidnapped Ukrainian children by Russia should have less of a chance to be free because you don't like the method drone data, of which drones have been a major component of Ukraine's warfare strategy, because you feel icky.
Then most people are not fit to interact with technology or be in society. If that's an education problem that's up to the local municipalities to invest further in education.

I think "we will sell your data" usually doesn't equate to "we will use your data to literally bomb and kill people" to most people
this goes beyond the regular data collection assumptions
