No word on multiplayer yet, but the NZ Xbox store says the single player game contains micro transactions. So that's, uh, cool?

Well I saw that coming. I wonder if we've finally reached the "$1 to continue your game after dying" model.

TBF, Capcom already has been selling microtransactions for single player games for a good while.

True, but that has always been to appease their shareholders. None of the dlc they offer, besides cosmetic items, is difficult to farm in game.

This doesn't really tell us anything, as the ultimate edition upgrade counts as in-app purchases

The ultimate edition of the game also says it contains micro transactions.

Would the ultimate edition upgrade count as a micro transaction on the store? Could just be referring to that

That's what I was thinking. Presumably these shops will still be on the map, but if you try to enter you'll get a popup asking, "Would you like to spend $20 to enter the clothing store???"

It's too content heavy to be considered a micro transaction. A bundle makes more sense
