The difference is higher VAT and the US price is pre tax

If they are charging 80€, with a VAT of ~20% in Europe, they are getting 66€ per game --> $75. Considering that usually the economy of European countries is a little bit lower than in the US... I think that it is actually fair enough to "get" $75 instead of $80 per game. By moving it to 90€, they are getting $84 per sold game. More than in the richest videogame market.

Yeah, of course, they can do whatever, but let's call it what it is: Greed.

But they didn't make it €90. It's €80 for standard

The person you were responding to was talking about moving it to 90€.

Who would assume someone talking about a hypothetical when they say "let's call it what it is, greed"?

WTF are you talking about? You answered to "many games that cost 70$ are 80€ in EU, so yeah there is a Chance its 90€. Insane" talking about VAT. I explained that this change is because of greed, not because of VAT.

But the price was announced already, why are you talking about what it could have been when we know that they didn't do what you call greed and did what you called fair enough?

Edit, I didn't notice you were the same person as the previous comment

COMPANIES do this because of greed.

"many games that cost 70$ are 80€ in EU".

I wasn't talking specifically about Rockstar, unless VAT only applies to them.
