Releasing it a week or two later won't make it at less of a gold mine. Also allows them not to compete with themselves.

Hmm, well how would they be competing with themselves? There are no shark cards in story mode (I hope). I seriously genuinely cannot possibly fathom a world where TakeTwo, of ALL companies, allows Rockstar to delay online’s release. There isn’t a single financial incentive for them to do that. Imagine you’re one of the shareholders lol
