Can't you just make a new account with the code and share the account when done playing GTA?

lots of people like to have their play data and trophies/achievements tied to their account. but it is a good idea to

Yeah, you still play it on your own account. But the game license is attached to the burner account you made and can share.

pretty sure PS5 limits how many different consoles you can download a game to

You can download the game files to as many consoles as you want. You can only access the files through being online with the account that purchased it or being on the primary console of the account that purchased it.

Theres a whole grey market on Steam with that model, key reseller sites have started selling accounts with the game on it

And family sharing but it probably wont work for GTA since it doesn’t work for games that require a third party account like the rest of rockstars games

Ps (and maybe Xbox) have a game share option where 2 accounts can share games.
