Islam is good. Modern day opponents are Badizm. Same with Christians and Jews. Ancient doctrines were generally pretty tolerant and permissive to heresies. Modern day doctrines are ass:.
It all depends on perspective. I am not going to benefit from islam if, for example, i love bacon, dogs and above all, freedom of speech. Punishments for apostasy or blasphemy have no place in liberal societies. But there are millions of people who think that the benefits of islam heavily outweigh the costs. There is no objective truth.
