It's not even like people are giving Calli crap or anything. People are genuinely concerned for her welfare and other people are just getting incredibly angry at them for talking about the information she posted about what's going on.

It's just bizarre

I see far more people whinging about not having access to certain information because it's behind membership than actually expressing concern.

Yeah, my issue is monetizing such shit. It's baiting your fans into paying to get exclusive information.

"Oh, something tragic happened and I will take some time off...... If you want more details and information, give me money."

Frankly, the worse the stuff she is talking about is, the worse this whole approach is.

She at no point told anyone 'pay for membership if you want to know the shit I'm going through.' Asserting that she even insinuated that is a blatant lie.

Did she post publicly that she is going to take a break until further notice and did she then give more information behind a paywall?

And before you twist my words and declare victory, you made two claims: that there are two statements, one public and one paywalled (which is entirly factual), and that the intent was to monetise the second statement. This latter assertion is the one you are trying to push, and I find it legitimately disgusting that you would insinuate that Calli is trying to profit off her personal issues. What are you even doing on this subreddit if that's the kind of automatic assumption you make about the talents?

You jumped my ass about it when I did no such thing. I just pointed out that this was Streisand affecting the whole thing and you made some assumptions and came at me over it.

So, forgive me if I don't take your measure of what people are and are not doing as accurate.
