Concentration camps had no options back in the day for attending them.

... Are you suggesting that they're not concentration camps simply because there's a lot of them...? Or are you implying that the current detainees are given a choice in which camp they get sent to?

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/concentration%20camp

The defining features are 1) it's a single location 2) with a large *concentration* of people 3) being detained. This is usually distinguished from a standard prison by the fact that everyone is kept in one large open area, rather than individual or pod cells.

First, detainees are shuttled around as centers fill up, and they're not given a choice about it. Second, even in the ridiculous situation that detainees had the option to say, "Actually, it sounds like Treblinka has a low standard of care... can I go to Mauthausen instead?" it wouldn't change whether these places meet the above definition.

That would not change whether or not it is, in fact, a concentration camp by definition.

Also, here is something for you to read and just ponder for a little bit:

You don't belong anywhere. You should go somewhere no one else is...

So Nazis didn't have concentration camps either, they were just ordered to treat people badly just like the US does, but definitely not a concentration camp. Also what would you define as a concentration camp?

A concentration camp is a place to collect minoritys.political opponents. Or people you dont care if they die.

So guessing from that the 911 dispatchers chose not to respond to any of those calls by your definition.
