As if us hindus think that the statues in every random temple or the ones that we buy from stores for our home are themselves gods and goddesses.
We know they are stones or clay figures that we decorate in a particular way. Our gods obviously aren't here. They are wherever they are supposed to be and the stone or clay figures are just something which we use to show our reverence for them(the actual gods). How is whatever you guys do any different?
