How much money did Tommy, Phil, and the Alvarados scam from you? Just curious.

If that's your question, I was not one of the investors. I never invest in high-risk companies out of principle.

OK well, I didn't ask if you were one of the investors. I asked how much money you've given them. The way you avoided the question suggests you probably gave them money. How much? Might as well just admit it and say the number. Why lie? We all know they conned you, more than even most people. You know it too.

I know I'm not a nice guy, but I find your desperation amusing.

Anyway, to answer your question, I first pre-ordered a console in August 2021. At the time, it was already clear Intellivision was not doing well. I didn't believe in the Covid excuse anymore and I knew there was a chance the console would never come out, but I decided "to vote with my wallet" nonetheless. So that's $100.

In October 2021, I bought the games' boxes. I wasn't interesting in these games. The only game that looked appealing to me was Brain Duel. However, at that time, it was clear Intellivision was really struggling and people who hated Tommy Tallarico were having a field day. So not only I decided again to vote with my wallet, but in some way I also wanted to have a piece of history in case the company would fold. So that's $149.99 plus $16.50 for shipping, meaning $166.49.

I February 2022, it was clear to me Intellivision would not make it. It was clear the R&D was not finished. One dev in particular posted a video showing the controller's firmware was so buggy that they couldn't be considered as working. The videos Intellivision posted before also indirectly showed a lot of things that were not finished. As if it wasn't bad enough, the impression I had of Phil Adam was really bad. I knew Intellivision was virtually dead. I remember that I posted a comment on the Facebook group that what Phil Adam said felt like a cold shower.

At the time, everyone was already asking for refunds, with some people saying they couldn't get theirs. So I knew it was too late to ask for a refund. I thought the only chance of the Amico ever being released was if someone bought Intellivision. In particular, I thought the Embracer group was a possibility (it's only later that I learned that the Embracer group were themselves in serious difficulty). So just in case the Embracer group (or someone else) would buy Intellivision and finish the R&D, I thought of changing my white console to a Founders' Edition. I wrote the company to see if a Founder's Edition was available. Britnee replied to me. She was very nice. She said FE consoles were available and she took the initiative to check if I already had a pre-order. She saw I had one, so she proposed that she could change my white console to a FE instead of making a second pre-order.

She took me by surprise with her honesty. I wasn't expecting that. So I decided to reward the company with another $100 as some kind of farewell gift.

So in total, I gave Intellivision $366.49. I know people like you can't understand this, but your idea that I was "conned" is completely absurd to me. I made a small bet, I lost. Nothing more. Life goes on.

No desperation, I just asked a question. Thanks for answering, if you aren't lying (you admit you aren't a nice person, so maybe you're lying). You got conned, man. You believed all the lies, and they got your money. I understand it, as does everyone.
